We are a CYF Forum, created to support children's, youth and families workers in our member churches.
London has been called the "young people's capital of the world". Not only do children and young people make up over a quarter of London's population but they represent one of the most diverse groups in our incredible city. And today's world provides them with opportunities and challenges like never before!
The CYF Forum is here to equip Baptist Churches right across the capital as they seek to serve the children, young people and families in their local community with the love of Jesus.
The forum core team is made up of a group of children, youth and families' workers, based right across our city and with wider ranging experience and we are here to:
- Inspire you and your church in your work amongst children, young people and families, helping you discover the incredible adventure and joy it is to journey with young people and share stories of what God is doing in our capital.
- Connect you with other like-minded people and churches, in our Baptist family and beyond, whom God is using to do exciting things in bringing the Good news of Jesus to a younger generation.
- Resource you, so that you are better equipped and supported in your children's, youth and families (CYF) ministry and are more aware of the different challenges and opportunities facing young people today.
We offer training, consultation, events and pastoral support.

New Youthwork Resource
Powerline: A52-Week Interactive Bible Study for Children’s and Youth Ministry
Powerline is a flexible, 52-week interactive Bible study resource created for Children’s and Youth Ministry across London Baptist Churches. The resource is divided into four volumes, with Volumes 1–2 now available to download below and Volume 3&4 coming soon, alongside additional sessions planned for the future.
Designed for children aged 4–10 and young people aged 11–18, each session includes an ice breaker, Bible passage, core lesson, discussion questions, creative activities, devotional/prayer and memory verse. Sessions can be used as written, followed in order, delivered in four-week blocks, or mixed and matched to suit the needs, rhythms and priorities of your church.
Powerline is designed to be a starting point rather than a prescriptive programme. Leaders are encouraged to adapt activities, questions and teaching approaches to suit their group, and to mix elements from the children’s and youth sessions where appropriate.
The Children’s sessions focus on fun, participation, storytelling and creativity, while youth sessions encourage deeper discussion, critical thinking, honest questions and real-life application.
Ultimately, Powerline is not simply about delivering a programme—it is about helping children and young people know Jesus, grow in faith and learn to follow Him in every part of their lives.
