London Baptists' Leadership Year is a fantastic opportunity for younger leaders to develop their skills and abilities.

The London Baptist Leadership Year is a training program which aims to develop disciples and effective leaders in today’s urban Baptist context. Combining practical training, personal spiritual formation and mentoring to help young adults become the leader God has designed them to be.
This is a fully funded program, with further financial assistance available for successful applicants.
The programme is focused on four key elements:
Spirituality: growing as a disciple through deeper Bible study, rhythms of prayer and worship, and putting faith into practice
Identity: discovering more of who you are, and how to grow sustainable rhythms for work, life and mission
Community: learning how to lead and serve others effectively, including the art of communication and developing vision and strategy
Mission: gaining insights into our cultural context and discerning how to be part of the growing Kingdom of God in an international city
Development comes through the three key elements of the training program:
Training
Each week trainees will receive input from leaders who are practitioners and theologians. They will also be part of residentials and conferences that will help them to learn and grow.
Mentoring and coaching
Trainees will receive personal input from the London Baptist Regional team, helping them to discern their calling and reflect on how they are putting training into practice.
Placement
All Leadership Year trainees take part in a 4 day a week placement where they put into practice all they are learning in practical mission and ministry. This can be done at their home church, in a paid leadership role, or as part of an internship arranged by London Baptists in one of our thriving churches.
