Resources for Justice

London Baptists and its member churches has a long history in campaigning for justice.

We continue to seek to resource and support member churches as they engage in matters of justice.

As the prophet Micah says:
He has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?
(Micah 6:8 NRSV)

London Baptists Justice Hub is a local expression of the National Justice Hub within Baptists Together. Local justice hubs comprise a group of local leaders with a passion for and commitment for disability, gender, race, social, ecological and other geographically relevant justice concerns. The London Baptists Justice Hub is made up of core leaders in each of these areas who seek to promote the aims of the Justice Hub within their areas.

Our primary aims are:

- To inspire, inform and prophetically challenge the churches and structures of our association on issues of justice
- To be a resource to the association, developing and pointing churches to relevant resources, and partnering with other organisations to deliver training.
- To facilitate relationship building and networking within the LB family on issues of justice
- To maintain links and involvement with wider Baptist and ecumenical bodies for the purpose of shared understanding and collaborative work on justice areas

Rev. Claire Nicholls co-ordinates the justice hub. If you want to know more about what we're up to, please get in touch with her via the contact form at the bottom of this page.
