How do I login to this website?
You should only login to this website if you belong to a member church of the LBA or are entitled to do so for some other reason..
You may, of course, be a registered user in your own right with a Username and Password. If so, enter them in the appropriate boxes at the bottom left of the page and click the "Login" button.
You can still login even if you do not have access to a personal Username and Password as long as you have a copy of the LBA Directory 2008-2009. Simply use the Username "lba" (all lower case"). As the Password use the last word on page 3 of the LBA Directory 2008-2009 (again all lower case). |

What about copyright?
Most of the material on these pages is either in the public domain or the copyright is owned by the London Baptist Association (© 1996-2010). We have tried to acknowledge copyright where it belongs to someone else. If we have inadvertently breached anyone's copyright, please let us know and we will remove the material from the web site or place a copyright acknowledgement with it.
You must ask permission before using any copyright material from this web site. Christian churches may link to pages on this website without formal permission but it would be encouraging for us if you let us know that you are doing this (by email to Colin Hicks)!
This London Baptist Association web site was originally designed and developed in 1996 (and has been maintained since then) by Colin Hicks. It has been updated by Colin Hicks using Joomla CMS in 2009 with help from many people especially the Baptist Union webmaster, Laveena Shetty. This new system enables a number of people to share in updating the web site. |

What are pdf and rtf files?
We have some files on the LBA website which can be downloaded in rtf or pdf format. To read them in your browser, left-click as usual. To download them, right-click on the link and save them to your hard disk. They should be clearly identified on the website.
Documents in Portable Document Format (pdf) can be read using a free reader downloadable from the Adobe website which may already be integrated into your browser. pdf is used for publishing documents which should not be edited further (like annual accounts). pdf documents are identified by the symbol .
Documents in Rich Text Format (rtf) can be loaded into virtually every wordprocessor and can then be edited.
Left click on the link to read the document in your browser; right-click to download it to your PC. |
