Capital Ring Prayer Walk 2010

Efforts to ring the city with prayer went very well with over 200 people taking part. We prayed for numerous issues including:

Thanksgiving for Pastor Kingsley Appiagyei’s presidency;

God’s will to be done in the upcoming elections;

For the Lord to nullify the BNP threat in Barking & Dagenham;

Thanksgiving for Dr Pat Took’s wonderful and tireless service to the LBA & Baptist family;

Wisdom for those conducting the LBA staffing review;

The Lord to end the mindless & wasteful deaths of young people;

Raising our cries for justice on behalf of the poor and the marginalised; and

Raising a plethora of local, national and global issues to the Lord.

From comments received people were very happy to take part and would be happy to do it again. I hope that next year we can cover all 15 sections.
