LBA Youth Forum

Update

For those of you able to make the LBA Consultation a few weeks ago there was the chance to hear of the exciting new developments with regards to youth work within the association. The new LBA Youth Forumis seeking to pool resources and pull together the wonderful skills, gifting and experience in youthwork from across our association and establish a wider network for youth workers in London to be supported, equipped and resourced in their ministry. We want to give you a quick update on two areas...

BUILDING A DATABASE: Of top priority for the Forum at the present moment is to establish a current and comprehensive database of all youth workers within LBA churches so that we can more effectively communicate what is happening in youth ministry in London and how people can be involved. If you have a youth worker at your church PLEASE do email their contact details to the LBA office (Name, email, mobile number if suitable). By doing this we can better share and connect with each other and support each other in youth ministry.

YOUTHWORKERS GATHERING: We are organising our next gathering for youth workers for Wednesday 1st May, Bloomsbury Central Baptist Church, 11am-1pm. PLEASE pass on this date to anybody in your church that is connected with youth work. We are hoping this day will be a great chance for youth leaders and volunteers from across the LBA to come together, be encouraged, inspired and equipped as we seek to disciple the young people of our city! More info to follow in the coming weeks....
